Review before committing

Use git status and git diff to inspect changes before staging files.

Keep code and history together

Work from a repository in the terminal’s filesystem and open its files in Acode to edit them.

Connect to your Git host

Fetching and pushing require a network connection and authentication accepted by your Git host. Keep credentials private and out of project files.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I work offline?

Local edits, status checks, diffs, and commits work without a network connection. Cloning, fetching, and pushing need access to the remote host.

Is performance the same as a desktop?

The iOS terminal uses emulation. Large repositories and intensive operations may take longer; start with a small project.
